Autotrader recently reviewed the 2017 Lincoln MKZ, noting that the car remains a traditional American luxury car with its uniquely opulent design and upscale amenities enhancing the smooth ride and responsive handling.
For the 2017 model year, the Lincoln MKZ features a new front end, interior upgrades and more user-friendly climate and audio controls. The reviewer liked that the interior is well isolated from the world outside, making for a comfortable and plush ride.
Under the hood, the 2017 Lincoln MKZ offers an available new 3.0-liter direct injection twin-turbocharged V-6 that generates 350-horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque, an upgrade from the standard 2.0-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder that produces 245-horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. A Hybrid model offers a 2.0-liter gas engine/electric-engine combo that the reviewer described as being, "…capable in most driving situations."
Standard safety features include front side-impact and side curtain airbags, electronic traction and stability control, collision warning, blind spot monitoring, lane-departure warning and adaptive cruise control. The Lincoln MKZ earned five stars for overall crash safety and frontal collision safety in government safety tests.
